Beltane Ruiz Molina

Beltane Ruiz Molina is one of the most versatile double bassists of Europe.
Specialized in a wide spectrum of repertoire, going from renaissance music until brand new pieces.
After her studies in London, Berlin and Basel, she worked with the most prominent modern orchestras and conductors in England, Germany and the Netherlands.

In 2010 she founded together with her colleagues the self-organized Zafraan Ensemble https://zafraanensemble.com in Berlin.
And since 2015 she dedicates herself fully to perform early and contemporary repertoire on all kinds of bass instruments: G-Violone, D-Violone, Viennese bass, 4 and 5 stringed bass on gut and metal strings.
She is member of Anima Eterna Brugge https://animaeterna.be and Apollo Ensemble https://apollo-ensemble.nl , where she leads the basses and is part of the artistic team.

In 2021 she started her own concert series in her region with an intimated atmosphere.
